These two are in question for me, is an Ambsuh Panther worth this much, and why is this focke-Wulfe at 50 when I can get a differrent one for 25 on eBay?

Catman,
It isn't really a question on if some is worth the amount on Ebay.
It's basic supply and demand.
If someone wants something bad enough, they will bid high enough to get it. Even though the product may not really be worth that amount.

So, in recent past you have quoted pricing on Ebay - remember it may be way out there in terms of what the item is really worth...

Digger might know more about the ambush panther itself...
Digger?

i see lots of those goofy 'bin' prices, generally in the Ebay Stores section. I guess the seller figures eventually somebody will come along and pay it. I guess these guys are trolling for that one sucker...

Unfortunately, in the sea of EBAY one usually snares a catch.

Well, Someone just paid this for one:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... %3AIT&rd=1

So that price doesn't seem to far out of line. Catman, did you not win the above auction for the Panther?

EDIT - Also the Fw-190 is the most uncommon version only found at WM not online retailers, hence the difference.

Just my .02 worth, but $133 seems ridiculously high to me. I remember another just like this on ebay about a month or so ago, I got involved in the bidding early on, but eventually dropped out and it finally went for about $75 or so with shipping, which is quite reasonable by comparison, but still a bit too rich for me. If you are persistent and patient you can actually find some pretty good deals on ebay, but you have to set an absolute limit of what you are willing to bid, then stick to it, at least that is what my strategy has been. Now, using this method I have had to let quite a few models go to higher bidders, but by the same token I have brought home a number of very good buys as well, so it just becomes a question of how high you are willing to go I suppose.

toy_trader_uk has a good deal on the Euro 190 too if shipping is not too bad.

yike.....shipping from the UK will probably be 30 pounds or so for a little over $100 you could get the British seller's one.

Not worth it though......one day these things will be common.

Indeed. This is why I was asking about that Panther. Really I don't intend to keep this one, and anyway this is good for me cause now I'm forced to sell off all my stuff..

BTW I sell Avengers there for 100+.. this is just cause these dumbassess either can't find them or are to frekin lazy to get up and drive a few miles..
On here i'd (i WOULD, Aferg) sell them for 75.06 plus shipping...

I also have to admit I used a picture of someone elses assembledavenger cause my digital camera fell in the pool(shut up). It never worked at home anyway who cares..

Hmm I don't really like that panzer but I like the box.. Whatever screw it

How do we know they will be common here?

And are there some items here that they want there (NOT looking to sell) just wondering.

wow

$152.50 for a Starfighter?

Hey Aviatornut!
I have an F104 Starfighter in the box I will sell to you for 75.00
That way you can do a 2nd Chance offer for your next highest bidder and collect 150.00 on that one too.

Some people have all the luck

$152 for that? While I'm glad Aviatornut got that price, I feel sorry for the bidder. There's still a few of those in my area and elsewhere for $40 at Wal Mart.

As of this post there is a new Stuka for sale for $14.50 with 4 hours 31 minutes left. That seems pretty cheap.

Here's a decent deal:

http://cgi.ebay.com/PANZER-IV-AUSF-H-WW ... dZViewItem

Shipping to Toronto, Canada was 20 pounds, so i imagine it would be the same the US....you may want to check first though.

Total cost with shipping is about $77-ish. Not bad.

I bought one....he's sold 3 in less than 12 hours so you better move quickly.

That is a good deal - poor guy who bid on this one missed out:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Ultimate-Soldier-1- ... dZViewItem

I remember someone on this board was looking for one a few weeks ago. I hope they snagged one of the ones from the UK.

I think it was Catman who was looking for one a couple of weeks ago.

There were 3 on last night and all were purchased by the same buyer....don't know if it was someone from the board or not.

Two were relisted this morning and i grabbed one of them.....cost $78.17US after conversion to Pounds. Not bad. It wouldn't have cost me a whole lot less if i had bought it from an online retailer in the US, that's assuming they had been available here. So i'm quite pleased.

If i decide i don't want it for some reason i can easily sell it for double what i paid anyway, but i will most likely keep it as i like the dark yellow and brown paint scheme. It has a nice fall of '43/spring of '44 Russian front feel to it.
