I'll bet it's a lot more than that. 55 vehicles at $20 each would be $1100. I'll bet the reserve is at least $1K.

This seller made it clear that he wouldn't state his reserve but I can guarantee you that it's at least 1k.

I tried to buy just the figures, He told me to hit the bricks

I was worth a try. I do wish he lived close to me. I would have XD stuff to sell on ebay for 2 months. (Off topic) I went ahead and bought the 2 new BoB figures off ebay last night for $15 apiece

, I am kicking myself now!

Its just I have been told on two occasions that the new BoB are in my local Wal-Mart; the figures are still MIA. Oh well this XD addiction is tough one!

Also off topic but I never understood the whole reserve price? Why not start out what you want. I know the insertion fees is more the higher the starting price but only buy $1 at the highest category. I guess the whole reserve price gets on my nerves.

Can anyone enlighten me? Digger sorry I have hijacked your thread.

The reserve price is there so potential buyers wont be scared of by a high start price. It allows people to “get involved” with the item. This sort of, encourages interested people to bid more. Also, the seller can lower his reserve if he notices that the bidding is not going to reach it. It’s all about strategy. Some say list it at what you want for it. I say $1500 will scare people off so list it with a reserve and take less if you want to later.

I've always wondered this myself. I've been buying/selling on Ebay since 1999. I always just set my opening bid at the minimum I want. If you do it this way and it doesn't sell the first time, you don't have to pay a fee to Ebay. If you set a reserve and it doesn't sell, you have to pay a fee to Ebay.

Just took a look at the closed auction for this XD lot. Final bid came under $600.
