The USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) is the only ship of her class, subclass of Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier, and the last conventionally powered carrier built for the U.S. Navy. The ship is named after the 35th president of the United States, John F. Kennedy and nicknamed "Big John".

Merit's priorities seem obvious. A three foot long (even a bit longer than the Harrier) very detailed and complex model but with 1300 parts and it's in stock. Doubt they've been working on it for five years either. 1/18 seems to be little more than a novelty sideline for them. I had suspected their core business is model kits...and spectacular ones at that! With a one piece hull the box must be huge!

I think they have missed the boat on not offering 1/18 kits of the Harrier and the FW-190.

You have my vote on that Mate. I am disapointed that this is out before their 1:18 scale stuff :x
