This is a pre-order sale of the same Jagdtiger tank sold earlier on ebay. The tank for sale can be done with the same fashion as photos or be ordered at your own choice plus or minus (certain condition applies). This is a large scale 1/16 WWII German Jagdtiger model radio control tank . The model is professionally customized and not played with. It is modified based on a Heng Feng Jagdtiger RC model tank. The original tank is very plain but in accurate scale. I recon with my modification works, this tank has a very good potential to be an unique cool model tank with tons of details. The tank has been reconstructed with details based on historical references such as added crushed fenders, welding joints seamline, photo-etched tool clips, recreation of realistic tool brackets, metal engine deck grille, metal tow cable and metal handles. Top hatch for loading BB bullets has also been modified with locking details. The anti aircraft MG42 machine gun with stand has been modified (original is a one piece plastic toy) so that it can swing and is removable for added realism as still display. The original tank body and gun has an unrealistic body finish and required a total refurbished cast metal finish with use of putty and sanding. The whole tank has been specially repainted with red brown/ sand / green camoflage and pain-stakingly weathered to create the moderate realistic battle worn look. The model has also been specially washed over with the dark colour to emphasize the fine lines, shadows and raised details so that it looks more realistic and 3D. Battle fine scratches and rust are also added on the whole body as well as the track. Hit mark of mortar was also added for battle worn look. The addtional fenders had been added with dents/ scratch and rusting effect. Wheels and under hull has been carefully added with mudding effect. All these professional modification works took hours of patience and hard work. This item is one of a kind customized collectible model for WWII and tank fans, and will surely be a great item for display as well as for action play (be careful with the little added parts as they are rather fragile). The model tank is fully radio control operational. It features a motor air gun with great firing range and the tank itself runs incredibly fast with great gripping power. Turret can be controlled to pivot. Top hatch can be lifted for BB loading, all wheels are independencely suspended. With 3 frequency to select. It also comes with 7.2V rechargeable battery pack and charger, as well as the remote control unit and package box for protection. The original decal, BB shells, fluid for smoke effect, instructions on the box.

Very nice looking model! Very well detailed and weathered, great job.

OMG !!

This thing looks wonderful !!! But a $1200 + price tag is a little steep.

But such detail does not come cheap.

There are a few guys on this board and one of them off the board who have this skill level .

I am not one of them. My skills ( if I have any ) are in the build .

I have a few friends that I can call on ( lucky for me ) who can take my offerings and can finish them to this high level.

Looks nice but I don't know why he put the wear marks on the road wheels (bare metal shining through paint). This was common on panthers that had track guide horns wearing at those spots but as you can see the guide horns on these tracks run behind the road wheels. Still a nice piece though, too expensive or me, but a nice piece nonetheless.

yep, he also should have cut out the bottom front plate and replaced it with a flat piece. That huge bump on it is not accurate at all and ruins it for me. Not to mention the camo that extends under the bolt on armor on the sides...

Isn't the bump there to accommodate the running gear for the RC setup?

Is there a way to make it accurate without affecting the RC components?

I have never ripped into mine to find out yet but I have been told by several builders that it can be done and dose not effect the RC function.

On a related note:

Was in Orlando this past weekend and found a guy near the Fashion Square Mall selling Heng Long 1/16 RC tanks for about $80 give or take depending on the specific model. He had the Pz III, Panther, and Tiger I, all in dark boxes. I have seen examples on ebay in light colored boxes so I don't know if there are different levels of detail you can buy into for these things.

Is that considered a decent price, adding sales tax? Ebay seems to indicate $90 after shipping up to $180 with metal upgrades.

This is a pre-order sale of the second Panther G tank sold earlier. This is a huge scale 1/16 WWII German Panther G Panzer V model radio control tank made by Heng Long. The RC model tank comes with metal version of aluminium gun barrel, metal links and front/back wheels. This model has a very accurate representation of the actual tank, with the modification and custom works, it is far more detailed than the Tamiya model or even Dragon model. I am an WWII tank enthusiast as well as a model builder. Few years ago I started to modify and paint 1/16 RC tanks as they are relatively inexpensive and have alot of potential for adding details and custom paint jobs. From the beginning of only paint job to recently overall modification of tanks with authentic details using photo-etched and custom brass/ metal parts. The photos can explain the tremendous effort that was put to the tanks in turning it not only a RC toy but a piece of art that you would put in a display case to appreciate. My job here is to share this joy of transforming this nice toy tank into a more realistic masterpiece with all the tank lovers. Please do not be mistaken that this is purely a paint and weathering jobs as alot of other ebayers could offer cheaply as mass production from Asia factory. Each piece is crafted by myself with references to historical information and research. Therefore they are all worth the price they are selling for in return for the hard works. In the future, I will offer different classes of customized tanks and price range to suit different people as some might want less details with only paint jobs for the action play. This 1/16 Panther G is heavily customized with following features:

Overall refinished of tank body and turret with different levels of rough cast metal textures effect
Added protective fenders on both sides of the tanks with punched fireshell holes, all are removable for action play
Added all welding joints seamline on overall body between different parts of metal bodies and turret
Added brass protective engine vent grilles
Added engine grille segmented covers
Added Aber 1/16 photo-etched tool clips and clamps, replacing the one piece cleaning rods with custom individual rods and fasteners
Replace the plastic tow cables with realistic cables and fasteners
Added spare track links on both sides with realistic fasteners and chainlinks
All tools fasteners and base on both sides of tanks were redone with brass parts, real chains and Aber photo-etched parts
Redone of the rear storage boxes with lids, locks and hinges
Added metal supports for the exhaust pipes at tail
Redone of the wooden base stand with bracket holder (original is one piece inaccurately molded)
Redone of the small cable round holder and steel rod on the right middle side of tank
Redone of the gun barrel base support with locking details and chain
Added metal hinges, anchor bases and eyesight pointer on top of the turret
Redone of Bosch light cover and fastening details
Added locking device and hinges on the cleaning rod cyclindrical holder, as well as fireshell hit marks
Redone of the front machine gun with more details
Redone of the lift jack fastening device at the back of tank
Redone of front facing mud flaps with openings and hinges
Includes a custom remake 1/16 tank commander figure in leaning posture, custom painted with wiring details
Added metal metal anchorage brackets for side fenders installation
Redone of the front hull rivet and casting details (area holding the front wheels, original is plain with no details
The colour of the camoflage is in late war period of 1944 in Ardennes, in red brown/ sand/ green with spots, characterized by its well defined colour lines
Overall tank painstakingly weathered to create 'realistic' battle worn look (not usual 'abstract' style with dry brush and spray paint effect, which means more time is spent)
Dark and lighter colous are used to accent all panel lines, shadows and raised details
Battle fine and large scratches, rusting effect/ water mark are recreated throughout the tank body and fenders by use of paint pigments
German military markings and sign are all hand painted
Wheels and under hull with added muddy and earth effect, grease leaking in the wheels and engine areas can be visualized
Realistic wood finish on the box and handles are recreated
Heavy rusted, muddy and metalic effect on real metal tracks
