This is an auction on the following pro-built 1/18 scale model of a JSI F-14 TOMCAT. This model was constructed from the brand new kit by JSI TOMCAT. Paintjob was applied with an airbrush and weathered accordingly using a various weathering techniques.

So that is well over $1,000 to paint it.

Hopefully even a non forum member will see that this is ridiculously over priced, considering what the base model costs.

WAY OVERPRICED IS RIGHT but, you better show off this work with some pics.

I guess there are no pics because he hasn't built one yet.

But most people at least show examples of their other work so you'll know they can deliver the goods.

So the auction has ended. Some collecter snapped it up.

According to his possible "finished versions" he is doing F-14A's, B's and D's ???? Sure would like to see his work for the D model cockpit and chin pod.

Because it has ended does not mean it is sold. the line across the item on the left side says ended. If somebody had purchased this or bid on it it would read sold. Seller could have ended for various reasons.

It did not sell because he never built anything IMO. Who the hell would pay $1400.00 for one of these builds, with NO PICS !!?? A little paint and markings does not make a B or D version.

does any one know this person ? could this be a skyworks scam? didn,t he take a bunch of cats for paint and bug out?

after some research he is green thriteen on e bay seems ok but over priced.no pictures of custom work on ebay just drawings.
