Am I missing something? This seems way too high even at this point unless there is a story behind this particular scheme.

Over the past week or so they've normally been going for $40-60 so how is he justifying $150?

Well, he's been fishing for 5 weeks now.
Time to try a new lure.

And to think I had one of those at one point... Price is far too high. At the most, that should be about $50. I was recently searching for a 32x ME-262 and saw the same S1 "White 3" planes with BIN for $70. Still too high given that's not really the best nor the most accurate of the 32x ME-262 paint jobs. Never mind the simplistic tooling.

They're out there for a lot less if you're patient. The sad part is as long as no one has fills the void with respect to 1/32 products, we can expect to see increasing prices for these old releases as well as new ones. FOV is a perfect example with respect to their new products as well as BBI's proposed F-4 coming out later this year (MSP $100).
