RC 1:6 Stuart

All,
I have a 100% complete (but loose) RC Stuart I'm thinking of selling.
Everything is in working order, remote, turret, sounds, cannon, etc... & for some reason, when I got it, it had 2 chargers in the box.

I guess I'd want $200 for it. I could consider shipping it, at actual cost, but based on size & weight, it could be very expensive to ship.

If anyone is interested, PM me & let me know.
I'm located near Springfield IL. in case someone is local to pick it up.

Thanks, Bob

If you send it Parcel Post USPS the postage is not that bad for a box that would fit the Stuart.

I've done it. Good luck.

I've got no need for one, but if you don't get any takers here, try ebay.

Unlike a lot of other 21c items where there currently seems to be a glut, R/C Stuarts have been selling well (when they are complete, working, etc) and priced fairly. I had an extra one that was loose & used, but complete & in working order that I just sold at profit. I put it up on ebay starting at what I paid for it and I was able to sell it for a profit a couple weeks ago.

Ship using USPS or UPS parcel.

UPS rates have risen and they are rising again on 1/1/12.

There is a glut of 21C 1/6 items now because there are so many other manufacturers around now making the same models that are more accurate models, considering their higher prices. Too many 21C items are toyish and overscale.

Exceptions are 1/6 21C Jeeps, Stuarts and Scout Cars. The Stuarts are relatively cheap and the RC Stuarts are fun and the static Stuarts are even cheaper but more accurate tracks. Even the "gold standard" Scout Cars have been hurt by the Taowan Scout Cars at $600. A super model.

EBay is the way to go, even taking into account the high eBay fees.

I sold all my 1:6 21stC stuff at the beginning of this year (well I got one RC Stuart left I chase around the Rottwieler with  )
I got more money for the static non-RC Stuart than I did for the RC one I sold around the same time.

This was kind of puzzling, but I guess it's because people who want to put their 1:6 figures inside the tank can do it, whereas the RC version you can't, is the only reason I could think of. Though someone in Canada really wanted it and was willing to fork over $400 for the static Stuart. (sent it USPS Priority International btw)

I've noticed too that this also happens with the 21stC 1:18 tanks. I've seen the static Panzer go higher than the RC version, though that maybe because they were harder to find and less of them? Though this may have changed lately, it was the case previously in both 1:6 and 1:18.

...and oh yeah ebay really socked it to me that month with the fees. :?

Wow... you want it so bad you posted it twice...

I do like the static Stuart better than the RC. The only difference is space for the crew and the more authentic tracks. My RC Stuart only has the tank commander and has no legs or feet so he can't go anywhere else.

Yeah, I guess if there are no takers from the board, I'll throw it up on e-bay.
I hope I get someone desperate for one
