I finally got around to reading the thread on the Fighting 1/18 forum (I'm not a member) that was linked in a post on the BST forum. I see where someone at Pegasus made what looks like a casual comment about wanting to make a 1/18 X-15.
If anyone's been bored enough to follow my 3d printing thread, they will have seen that the X-15 was a very likely next project for me after I finally "close out" development of the A4/V2. The news that Pegasus may be thinking about this would have a big impact on whether I devote time to an X-15 printed kit -- in fact, it would ensure that I wouldn't.
So first, does anyone have contact info for Pegasus that will get me to someone there who really knows what their plans are? If so, I would really, really appreciate it if you could provide that to me.
Second, I'm guessing it's perfectly appropriate to ask Pegasus if they really intend to develop an X-15. I know of the kind of games the major and semi-major producers played back in the Golden Age, sending "head fakes" to each other about product development that killed some great projects, and then ending up doing a really astonishing number of duplications.
So, what's the feeling about just flat-out asking Pegasus if they're serious about an X-15?
Contact for Pegasus and a question about product development

Re: Contact for Pegasus and a question about product develop
Most of the players still in the 1/18 game are doing very little, if nothing to support this hobby. So, if you want to make an 1/18 X-15, do it. Pickelhaube doesn't wait around to see if someone is making a T-34 or Horton, he forges ahead. I for one would be very interested to see an X-15 produced.
