I am offering up for sale my custom 1/18 Hellcat that was done in the color scheme of the 1946 United States Navy Blue Angels. The Hellcat is in the markings of Blue Angel #1, which was Butch Voris, the first commander. This was done by former member here Airstrike Toys for me a couple years ago. He repainted it and then designed the Blue Angels decals for it. It is a really nice display plane and would be a unique addition to a collection.
There are a few very minor issues with the aircraft. The first is that the external belly tank is missing (the Blues did not use them anyway). The other issue is the antenna on the bottom broke off when Airstrike Toys built the aircraft, I never made a replacement. Finally, as are common with the Hellcats, the wing fit is touchy and tight. The plane looks great even with the minor problems but just want to be totally honest. I've had it on display on the gear with the wings folded and have had no issues. A little dusty, but ready for a new home. I have an original BBI box to put it in and it does come with a pilot as well.
Price: Real simple, I'd like to get what I originally paid for it from Airstrike, which was $225 including all shipping to your location. I like this model, but someone else can enjoy it who really loves 1/18. No trades as I am slowing downsizing in 1/18 and moving to other scales. Anyone interested send a PM. Here are some photos of the Hellcat.

Thanks for looking.
