A lot of the pricing depends on which model you are talking about. Depending on the model and how rare it is the price would vary. Based on the price you posted, if the models are all the common ones, I'd say you got a good price. If they are the models that are harder to find than I'd say you got a great price. I really don't believe you lost in the deal either way.

If we figure the items at close to their original retail (not counting the cheapened Wal Mart prices) :
P-38 = $70
Spitfire = $50
AT F-86 = $60
BBI P-51 = $60
Total = $240
Then you got a burned a little... However, if we consider today's higher prices:
P-38 = $100
Spitfire = $150
AT F-86 = $80
BBI P-51 = $70
Total = $400
then you got a better deal.

My figures are only estimates, but 21c P-38s and Spitfires tend to command much higher prices than they once did. AT F-86s and BBI P-51s have climbed somewhat in price, but still remain close to their original retial prices.

I think you did fine...especially depending on the model.

You must include the shipping. With five big boxes shipping can easily be $100.

The boxes are big and size costs more than weight.
