Negative feed back

I just got my first negative feedback on e-bay. The only one in about 9 years of being on e-bay.

http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d ... llFeedback

I guess this guy was unhappy with my Apache radome. He never gave me a chance to make good or give back his money.

Oh well. But it does sting a bit especially because I can not give him negative feed back in return.

That does suck.

Sorry to hear that Pickel. With just 14 transactions under his belt the guy is an obvious Noob, and you can't do anything about the neg feedback now, but you can block him, and I would advise everyone else here who sells on ebay to do the same. I know I will, and thanks for bringing it to our attention. The good news is it's not likely to hurt you much, but I can still understand your feelings. BTW, you can't neg him but I believe you can add a comment to the neg, you might consider just saying something like "never contacted me or asked for a refund", just something to kind of show the guy pulled the trigger on you without ever attempting to work it out with you.

I see he has left six negatives in the last few weeks. Avoid him like the plague!

Owe, I'm sorry to hear that. Doesn't help, but take a look at the feedback he's left. Leaving negative feedback seems to be his specialty.

Does ebay have a way to report what seems to be just his way of doing business?

Sounds like he should be reported to Ebay for his feedback, I can't imagine that much bad luck.

I got one..actually 2 from one guy from who bought several items and was unhappy about shipping charges for the lot to Australia

One of the things I liked about the new feedback rules it put me back at 100% from this arse from 2005.

So far 134 postives for the last 12months. No Neutrals or Negs.

Nut job. 12 negs in two weeks - unreal.

Report him to evilbay.

I think it's buyer remorse, he over-bids/pays then sees it cheaper or sell for less and this is his way of striking back although it is unjustified.

too bad PH,,,,it happens to everyone. It will be gone in 12 months.

Pickelhaube, for what it's worth, try not to think about it too much...Everybody on this forum knows you're a good guy, honest in your dealings and all that. I've had a few wackos I've dealt with while selling on ebay...For the most part it's people trying to get a lower price after the fact & using negative feedback as a weapon. It's not ebay's fault, there are just always going to be a few people around who will screw up anything - I would, however, as someome else suggested, post an explanation by the negative feedback, just so people will see what is really going on!
By the way, any update on the F14 ladder?

It's been a long time since I've posted here. I visit often just to see what's going on. (I guess I'm a lurker 8) ) When I saw this I wanted to chime in. I'm lwalts2010 on ebay and I created an account a couple of months ago to start selling off my collection. I was very surprised by the neg feedback he left for me because he seemed to communicate with us and understand that we were offering free shipping via parcel post with a tracking number. I live in NC and we shipped it to Cali. It took 7 days to get there which seemed very resonable to me. Oh well live and learn, I only have a few more boxes to move and then I will be done with eBay.

I wish you all well!

Sorry to hear that PH.

I don't sell on Ebay[well not yet],so don't know all the sellers tricks.

But I do realize that there are all kinds on Ebay, and one neg feedback for a seller, does not concern me.

With this buyer leaving so much neg feedback over such a short time, clearly this guy has issues.
Not sure what,if anything,Ebay could do.

At least PH responded to his neg comment.Puts it in perspective.

Matt,
I to am sorry about the negative feedback. As someone who has appreciated everything you've done for the hobby I may be able to help since this happened to me and the negative feedback was later resolved and removed.

First go to the "Help" page then go to the "Topics" page next open the "Feedback" section and see if what this ?@#$% is doing can be resolved through one of these violations listed by ebay:

eBay may remove Feedback ratings or comments if:

There is a violation of the Feedback abuse policy.

At the time the item ended or the Feedback was left, either member participating in the transaction was unable to form a legally binding contract.

Either member provided eBay with an email address that is invalid, and that member could not be contacted at the time of the transaction. See our false or missing contact information policy.

A buyer mistakenly leaves negative or neutral Feedback for the wrong seller, informs eBay of the error, and has left the same Feedback for the intended seller.

A member who left negative or neutral Feedback is later suspended by eBay. In that case, negative or neutral Feedback left by that member is removed. Note: If a member is suspended within 90 days of registration, all Feedback left by that member is removed.

eBay is provided with a valid court order requesting Feedback removal.

A buyer fails to respond to a reminder about an unpaid item and the unpaid item is recorded on their account.

When the buyer's communication within the Resolution Center undermines the purpose of the unpaid item process and the eBay Feedback system. For example, if a buyer responds to an unpaid item reminder with nonsense text simply to retain the ability to leave Feedback for a seller.

A buyer leaves a seller a negative or neutral Feedback that refers to customs delays or customs fees (see below).

I hope this helps Matt...........Rudy

Sorry that happened. From looking at the pictures in your auction, that guys reason for leaving feedback is groundless.

Thanks for the heads up though. I've added him to my block list.

Sorry your path crossed with that sorry sack of ****. I'd contact eBay and point out the fact that the buyer never gave you an opportunity to offer a refund as well as the fact that he takes perverse pleasure in leaving negs as often as Tiger Woods likes playing with porno queens.
Oh, and I've blocked him too...thanks for the heads up!

unfortunately Ebay will remove feedback only under very specific circumstances and this isn't one of them.

Last summer i had a guy buy 3 thing from me over a period of about 10 days. I was waiting for him to be done buying before sending an invoice...at his request.

Well after the 3 purchases, i waited and waited and 2 weeks went by and he neither bid nor paid. I emailed him a few times and got no response. So, i opened ONE unpaid item case to kick him in the butt. And it worked. He paid right away.

I shipped the next day, he emailed me several days later that he'd received his items and that was that. Or so i thought.

A month later the guy left me THREE negative feedbacks, in each of which he slammed me for opening an unpaid item dispute. These were my first negatives in over 4 years.

I contacted Ebay, asking them to remove this clearly unfair feedback, in which the buyer even states he received the items and that he's just ticked off about the one unpaid item case.

Ebay woud do nothing, as it didn't violate their policy for feedback removal.

So i'm stuck with them for another 6 months or so.

If enough people block this clown at least he might get the message.

Though I'm not selling any of my military toys yet, I certainly wouldn't want this guy bidding on anything I have. He's poison.

Well something happend to this guy. He is no longer a registard e-bay user. I guess he had many complaints and got kicked off . :D :D :D

I kow he sent me 4 e-mails that were just down right crude , childish and insulting.

He called me a homo twice a jerk once and rounded everything off by calling me a faggot.

I tried to file a complaint and gave up after waiting 20 mins on the phone. Well now I have a 100% positive feed back on e-bay.

Thank all of you guys for the support on this.

Matthew
