What info where you looking for on the 222? What I found last night is slim, but I might have something that could help.

Also thanks for the link of the Grille M booklet..def going to snag that.

The nuts and bolts is a good book to have as references. I just wanted to have it on hand.

I have a few things already to start the project.

Tamiya 1/35 Sdkfz 222 kit
Tamiya 1/35 Sdkfz 223 kit
Built Tamiya 1/35 223 model
Squadron Signal armor cars book
1/18 scale drawings
Other misc books.

I just wanted the Nuts and Bolts to put me over the top.

Grognard wrote:PH, there area few good references for the 222.

Shiffer Books - German Light Reconnissance Vehicles
Podzun-Pallus - waffen Arsenal - Lichte Pnzerspaehwagens (Ger. version)
MotorBuch Verlag - Die Gepanzerten Radfahrzeuge
Tanks of the Battlefield #14 - Sdkfz 222/223 (russian text)
Wydawnicwo - Samochody Pancerne 4x4 (Polish text)
Osprey Vanguard #25 - German Armored Cars
Osprey New Vanguard # 29 - German Armored Cars and Recon Vehicles

Kirin Models did a 1/16 222 in Resin a few year back. I picked one up a decade ago. Too big for 1/18 but nice.

http://afvinteriors.hobbyvista.com/ had a good set of detail photos. The web site is temporarily down, but I did save all the pages (I'll email them if you want).
Please do if you do not mind. The more the better.

And thank you very much.

after about 8 years of looking . being outbid on e-bay 3 times , I finally got one !!!!!

the last time I bid (around Christmas time ) I bid $150 and got over bid. !!!

I found one on Germany's ebay and won @ about $32 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was 5 bidders . so about $6 for shipping.

I have it now in my hands and to tell you the truth PANZER TRACTS is more informative and has more line drawings. :? :? :? :?

But now I have it and perseverance wins out !!
