Anyone's Wal-Marts still have 21C figures on sale?

I think I have enough DAK, but if your Wal Mart still has these I'd be happy to buy or trade!

My AO WM's have purged themselves of all things 21st.

Have you really scoured the toys aisles? While at one of my local WMs, I happened to spot a row of 1/18 Bauers, Moldenhauers, and Erdmanns whereas the last time I had seen anything 21st at that store was about three months ago. They were an aisle over from where the 21st stuff was normally shelved (there is still a SKU for the playsets on one shelf), up on top next to some totally unrelated toys. I got a few more to do some head switching and expand the infantry squad using my Monkey Depot Panther as a shield.

I guess they needed the room for a hotter toy and figured no one was buying them anyway so why not stick them out of the way until next reset?

Odder still was that across the way atop the corresponding aisle in that row, I found the Star Trek 2009 Enterprise by Playmates, whereas there was no shelf space allotted to them in the actual spot reserved for the Trek toys. Why on Earth would you hide a $30 toy that is currently a reasonable moneymaker for your store? Next to them were the Hot Wheel ST minis, instead of where they should have been. This was a store decision, obviously, seeing as the next closest WM had everything in the correct spot (but alas no 21st except a few US artillery playsets and one crushed XROD Spit - which I would buy-repair-repaint if it wasn't still scanning at $15).

Hey, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea to scan every single shelf in the store. Who knows what you'll find. Maybe one of us will hit the jackpot and find a MIB set of Windows 95 floppies over in the Pet section.

Have you tried any of the stores along the Ocala-Orlando leg of 441? When I was down at the end of March, I drove from Gainesville to Winter Park via 441 rather than I-75 to do some sightseeing, being as we hadn't been down that way in about two years, I guess. Anyway, I only got to stop in one along the way and damned if I know what the town was - last time I was at that intersection there was nothing on the east side but open Florida nothingness and on the west a couple of chain eateries and gas stop. Now the east side is a WM supercenter. Sunset Harbor area, maybe? Wherever it is, its situated in a rather large open treeless area on the east side of 441 across from not much else but strip mall fast food excitement.

Anyway, they had some stuff left at that time but I don't recall what all - an assortment of scales, even a couple of the 1/144 armor - but not in tremendous quantity. Never been in the Leesburg store. Oh, yeah. Nothing in Gainesville.

I will check again-thanks for the suggestion. I found one figure left at one of the Wal Marts here and assumed that whas the last, but who knows -- they may have restocked like the store you mentioned.

Thanks!

I have have hit a few of the 441 stores. I found a couple figures, nothing else though. I'm sure those are gone by now as well.
