Why did this auction sell for so much??

Was it for the M113 APC or some other item in this auction?
It just seems WAY too much...

I picked one of these up on clearence for $10, and promptly destroyed it for custom fodder. I still have the hall and chasis intact, but the Treads Hatches and a few whells are missing. It might make a good burned out APC for you dio guys.

I'm pretty sure it had alot to do with the SWAT team that was offered with it. They are the Intoyz Swat guys and they go for crazy money on Ebay. I just scored a set for under $40!!! from this seller: toystobe and I think I saw more of them in his store.

I was after the APC, have been for a while but they dont show up on ebay very often. I didnt win the auction though, was a little out of my price range. Would love to pick one up if anyone has one.

I have an R/C green/brown 21stC APC and I know I have at least one Intoyz Police figure. Maybe I have the workings of an Ebay auction Spectacular!?

I have that APC. I got it in 2004 for under $10 and it was the only one I ever saw in my area. I immediately spent several times the amount I purchased the vehicle for on Build-a-Rama accessories and BBI modern figures to properly outfit it. Revamping the M-113 was my first XD custom job

However, if you figure the original $30-$50 price for the APC, and then figure about $4-$5 for each of the SWAT figures at normal retail, the $96 final price seems a bit more reasonable...

I have the woodland remote and got one of the tan regulars from Don in a great deal. Both are very cool and I wish I had caught the bug long before I did cause the woodlans were on sale at WM for 11 bucks when I got mine. As for the SWAT guys, I saw them in a store and they were going for a buck a peice and still I passed cause they were kinda cheap looking, the BBi cops are much nicer looking and they are NYPD!!! But now I had to get the Intoyz guys but I held off for a long time. Seeing as they were going on Ebay for low 90's. Sorry for the run on, i just had a twelve pack of Coronas...Hahaha....
