I can do the German jerry cans for $2.50 each . For 50 we can make a deal
Spare Panther track links that go on the side $10 for a set. I think there are six of them.
I am also getting back my Tommy hats from the Hun. I sent him the master way back when.... 1/18 scale Tommy hats $3 each. I will have pics up for the Tommy hat hopefully by Wendsday.

Well don't let .50 cents be a deal breaker. One is the size of a dime the other (jerry can) can fit on a tea spoon. They both will take a 2 part mold. The jerry can seem to be popular the Tommy hat not so. If there is a volume need we can talk.
Unless your just breakin' my cajones.

heheh......british helmets are something i've been wanting for years. I tried to get buildarama to make them a long time ago, to no avail.
I have a volume need of 10. Name your very best price.

I'd be interesed in a few Tommy helmets, but not as a big volume buyer, just adding to the overall interest.

They are actually right for an earlier Tiger. But 21st made the late model. The Germans being frugal used everything that they had. So I would think that they used the older tracks on the newer tanks if they had to. The Fov tracks would be better on the 21st Tiger but they do not mesh with the main drive sprocket. I do not think that I would do a set of indivisual track links for the Tiger. That would be a crazy amount of work for the pay off..
But I can cast the FOV track links and you can put them on your 21st Tiger. Of course they would be static and not move or turn.

Oh yeah they look like poh pooh. Let me look into it and I will see what I can do. Maybe I can pour a length of FOV track and see if it looks better. I think that it will look better using th FOV.

USMC Chet,
I looked at the FOV tracks and the back side of them are plainer than 21st's. I could do a bang up job of remaking the tracks to hang on the side of the Tiger turret but for $10-$15 per set it may not be worth it to do. Unless I had quite a few orders.
It can be done. I would say that it will take about 4 hrs to make the master. 3 hrs to make the mould. I hr to cast it if I do a section. Or the same amount of time to do a link then multiplied for each link.
So If I had one order of the side track links. It would take about 10 hrs plus to make a set from start to finish. For $10-$15 again it may not be worth it. Now if I had an order of 20 or so it would be worth it.
But if I copy something it would be a lot easier.
If anybody else would be interested in them let me know.

Put me down for some of the British Helmets.
Are the tracks flexable enough to wrap around curved surfaces, like a Sherman Turret?

Hey Fritz,
No the tracks are semi rigid. I can make the tracks rounded to fit around the ideler and main drive. I think. When I made them the consigner wanted just the strait sections because he was going to use the original tracks and put sag on them and he used these on the ground section. They were basicly used as fillers.
If there is interest in the FULL tracks that can go all the way around let me know.
Fritz you can PM me on the helmets and we can get things going
They will bend around a Sherman turret. A little hot water soak will make it easier. I wonder if that will work to bend around a ideler ?
I will check it out.
