250mb Zip Drive Anyone? (if too off topic, please delete)

Post by Coreyeagle48 » Mon Feb 23, 2009 9:32 pm

Greetings

I have a USB powered Iomega 250mb Zip drive I'd like to get rid of. I used this originally for my photography but now use flashdrives and this gets no use. It is in excellent working order and comes with the following

1-250 mb Zip Drive

1-Drive holder (allows drive to be stood on side)

1-Driver CD

1-USB cable to connect with your computer (you may want a high speed one)

*At least 6 100mb Zip Disks with cases, they will be formatted and ready to use. They are the ones for use with PC's. There could be one or two more of these as I go through my boxes

I don't know if anyone uses these anymore or what the going rate for them is. If anyone is interested and wants to make an offer send me a PM. Figured I'd ask here before putting it on ebay.

*If this does not have a place on this board, please delete it.

Thanks

Corey

Seriously, hardly anyone really uses zips anymore, but they do still sell a few models. Most modern backup devices have surpassed the tech in zips but you may find someone who wants it.

The current model closest to yours in spec sells about $113 new.
