Feelers: Anyone want to buy this King Tiger?

Post by GooglyDoogly » Mon Jun 23, 2008 7:03 pm

I'm in desperate need of $700, and as much as I love this King Tiger (the only one I have since I haven't finished my Matorro KT yet), but I'd be willing to part with it. :(

The figure's not included anymore because I have no idea where it is now.

WOW, what a beauty GD.... 8) Wish I had a spare $700 beans, I'd take you up on it in a heartbeat. I presume this is a full option Tamiya...?? I'd almost be hesitant to run this in the dirt, I would be afraid I might get it dirty LOL 8) I suppose you've already considered the other selling options such as ebay and/or RCU. I can certainly understand not wanting to go on ebay, it would take a considerable bite out of your net profit. :( Best of luck, I'm sure you'll find a buyer for this gem quickly.

The yellow base coat on late German armor was Dunkelgelb or Dark Yellow.

Oh, yep, that's the FOV King Tiger. My Tamiya King Tiger is currently ripped apart at the moment. LOL

And I used Tamiya's XF-60 Dark Yellow color as base. But I mixed it with other paints as well.

shouldn't that thing have a few holes drilled in its right side hull from when an m10 shot it up trying to cross the bridge at Stavelot? Or was that 222? Anyway, I know it was in the La Geize, Stavelot, Trois Points area somewhere. It is a very nice piece :D
