How Should I Institute a Bad Trader Alert?

I sent my parcel in good faith...according to delivery confirmation, it was received 2 weeks ago. I've received nothing in return, nor has there been any communication from this board member. I've even tried posting on this board for the person to contact, but nothing. The person has my address, email, and phone number. At this point, how do I institute a bad trader alert?

I think you just did... the only thing that need to be done is add the name of that person and id...

In the past when I have had someone not come through on their end of the deal, I have tried to email or contact them in some way. If I did not get any response, I sent the details of the problem to Aferg. He in turn would issue the Bad Trader Alert post.

Based on your earlier post in this BST forum, I suspect you're referring to momaw nadon.

He has been a member in excellent standing for a very long time, and has had successful positive feedback from many traders. I'd suggest trying all the personal avenues you have to contact him directly (email, PM, phone), and in the meantime pray that all is well with him.

Does anyone know if momaw is OK? Sometimes real life usurps priority...

If I've misinterpreted your postings, my apologies to all.

Whatever the issue, I hope it resolves soon for you.

I dealt once and very successfully with Momaw Nadon, and he went out of his way to ensure that I got what I had requested :D He is a long-standing board member who has conducted many transactions and who has never been a problem. Something else might have come up in his life, temporarily leaving him unable to get back to you...

For example, during the course of my transaction with him, he went on a business trip, or something that took him out of town for nearly three weeks, and was unable to properly maintain communication. He alerted me to that, which was no problem on my end. That could be what is up this time around.

Given that he just successfully conducted a large sale of items with a number of board members, I highly doubt he is out to screw just one member. Give it time, don't over react too soon, and I'm sure he will get back to you.

Momaw Nadon, is a good friend and trader I met from the Rebelscum boards. If you want I could try and get in touch with him on RS boards or I can email him for you. I won't give you his email but I can touch base with him for you.

He really is a good guy and is probably just tied up with work and family. Real World stuff happens everyday and the key to being a good trader is learning to be patient.

let's give him a couple more weeks to surface. If he doesnt i'll make this a sticky and we'll consider that there is a trade alert on him.

It is unfortunate to hear this and hopefully, nothing bad has happened to Momaw. I concur that a little more time should be given and give every chance to make things right.

I have only dealt with him once but it was very high value and I had no trouble with the deal or communication. I too would caution that something must have come up which took him away from the board and the trade.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the guys how backed me. I dropped off the map for a while with my computer kicking the bucket, but everything is ok. Just today I was able to get back up on-line, so I'm sorry for anything and everything my problem caused and I hope GIToys can forgive me on all this with the delay and everything.

Harley emailed me and explained the circumstances leading to the delay in sending his package. He's a good guy and I wouldn't hesitate trading with him again.
