New Jagdpanther on e-bay WOW
Hey guys check this out. E-bay # 270215603235. If any of you guys can post this auction so all you have to do is click on it. I would thank you.
What is this guy thinking? It looks like a 1/32 scale mantlet and barrel on a 1/18 chassy. The fighting structure looks like it belongs on a Jagdtiger. He says he has sold some of these all over the world. OH MY !!!!!
Hopefully the customizer is nobody on this board.
I am not trying to slander but gee whizz there aint nothin' right on it.

I think he sould come up with his own name for it, something like Sturmpanther or something It looks wierd, but if one uses it not as a Jagdpanther and perhaps changes the gun, it could be some sort of imaginary German armor. The seller obviously did not consult any photographs, profiles, reference books, or even the excellent 21c and FOV 1/32 models of the Jagdpanther. Too bad

I'm sorry, but this guy obviously saw the other 1:18 Jagdpanther projects on eBay and concluded 1:18 JAGDPANTHER = MONEY. He is probably counting on the gullability of some newer eBayers to make some coin off of this piece of junk. It even says in his description that he has made examples for "collections" around the world.
Only thing that upsets me is that he butchered perfectly good 1:32 and 1:18 tanks to make it!

is there a Bubba in the audience ?pickelhaube wrote:Ok, I have looked at it hard and long. There is nothing right with this custom. But if he takes this junk off and put the original turret back on it may sell for $100
I wonder who is the guy who has bid on it. Does he have a clue? Is he a buddy of the seller?

There is now a second bid pushing this to $51.00, a veritable bargain! Picklehaube, have you been outbid?
