Harrassment

About a month ago we were doing a trade..
We were to ship out the same day,
I sent out as promised, but never recieved anything.. he claims to have not recieved my package.
His wife at the moment is trying to work something out, I'll get back out here tomorrow and say whatevers going on..

I have contacted catman guys because he lives here in San Antonio and enjoys the hobby. I have not traded with him yet, but I will post a good trader report when it is completed. I have talked to him on the phone and he seems pretty responsible to me. As with almost everything in life, trust must be (earned).
You are new to the board catman and you will gain the trust of the members as time and trades pass. In the past a few our older members were seriously burned by Audie Murphy so you have to understand they may still have a bad taste in their mouths. I too came very close to being scamed by this little creep.
I think Aferg and others here are willing to give you a chance. We can start with the Tiger tank we spoke of on the phone.

u inderstand why im not trusted, actually i would more prefer that, so i know this is for real and no ones stupid here. thanks.

They saw this and are saying if I think its OK it will be.. they are trying to get me some money or something...

allright well i was wrong, they are now trying to force me to write that everything is ok or something, and they are doing nothing on their behalf to complete their end of the deal. not reccommended. I am doing everything i can to locate their package and they're just complaining and threatening to blackmail and claim things about me.

What are you talking about - has he been banned? As of last nite he was still posting and just yesterday was trying to line up another trade.
When I said he was dishonest Andrew said it was a bald statement that looked like a personal attack - has something changed I should know about?

catman has not been banned. His jokeseth profile will be cancelled. At this point there is still nobody who can say they have been cheated by catman. Is there? If so, step forward, now is the time.

We all acknowledge that he acts strangely but that in itself is not a crime. If you guys want P-51 to start banning people just because you don't necessarily like them or because you don't feel they fit in with us etc, well then this board will have taken an ugly turn.

I have told catman not to attempt to do any trades until October and to try and become a model board member. After that time he will be closely monitored. I can't imagine anyone in their right minds who would trade with him anyway, after all this.

So, let's move on now gang and get back to talking toys.

I don't think we are becoming a "that guy doesn't fit our board" board. I think that everyone is a little gun shy from the "Audie Murphy" days and is trying to not let that happen again.
We appreciate you stepping in and doing what you can to settle the issues at hand.
