gijoewoofer/the hun has a few WWII stowage auctions up on Ebay, and it looks pretty sharp.

Hey Red, you might be able to use this gear.

I think a board member was looking for one of these, but I can not remember who? I had never seen one of these still in the package.

Actually, that Hitler figure is kind of creative. He just used a standard German head (like that which comes with the BoB MP-44 gunner or the BoB2 Open Coat soldier), painted the hair black and added the moustache. He really needs to paint the uniform tan. I'd think about making that figure myself, but it would be a waste of a perfectly good figure.

Don't feel bad. Your auction came up on one of my search emails that Ebay sends to me daily. I don't think the space between 1: 18 will hurt you too bad. You could always end you auction early (within 12hrs prior to your auction's end), if it isn't getting the amount you want for it...

Yea, I may just do that. I had to end an auction early once a while back on a $200 Hot Wheel that only made it up to $30. You put it at a low price in order to avoid those big insertion fees assuming that it will bid up near to its value. Not the case sometimes. You know what I love the most? It’s those guys out there that bid on a $20,000 classic car and have a $100 bid. That stuff is just too funny.

OK, WTF is going on these days? I see this seller has a set of the bbi Paras for $160?
I also see the bbi M1 for $150 Buy It Now, and the Apache similarly priced - all this stuff is still available, is it Xmas or something that is driving this trend? Was it the BH sale that has people thinking EF is now gold? I jut don't get it...

It is funny. I put up my Black Hawk when i saw one go for a $200 the other day. I'm not sure what is going on. In my case, I hope the trend repeats but I doubt it will. As for that Sherman. Maybe if I throw some bags on one of mine and set it in a picture frame full of dirt it will sell better.

Apparently it costs more to ship a diecast tiger than a picture frame of dirt!

Not a bad price considering it's a fairly sought after plane.
