Northern Oklahoma - Bartlesville is about 30 miles north of Tulsa. Maybe 70 miles from Joplin, Fort Smith, Wichita.

Same guy in DC has these items as well. Prices aren’t giveaways but are still realistic.

Buckyroo wrote:Just got done emailing a fella who is selling me a Jabo P-47 and a Lost Squad. Avenger for $100. Both are open but complete. 30 minute to 45 minute drive in some nice country, too. This will be a good reason to get out for a while in the next couple weeks.
I wrote this back in January on a Saturday morning. Later that same day my truck experienced a major issue that put it out of commission for 3 weeks. I did the repairs that included replacing the rear axle, drive shaft and transfer case, and needles to say that airplane purchase was put on hold. I told the seller to let them go if he had the chance, because I didn't know when I would contact him again about the planes. I emailed the seller a little over a week ago and he still had them. He wouldn't ship and others tried to beat his price down; he was holding out for what I think is a fair price. The only issue with the open planes is the Avenger is missing one crewman. The seller was an older retired gentleman who really took care of them.

Yesterday we had the opening day events for my daughter's Little League softball season, and afterwards we took a family drive which included getting these planes. all in all it was a good day. Plus when we stopped to get the P-47 and Avenger the seller threw in a bonus plane that had not sold (at no added cost). I don't have any other 1/32 planes but the Detroit Miss will go to my office at work.

Not Mine.. but Very cool models. They look to be 1/32 scale. Nicely done. The guy is asking $500 not bad considering the kits alone run around $100 each.

Nope, I wouldn’t post stuff I’m actively buying. This was for you guys to go for. I would have liked to have gotten that Corsair though.

It might be worth investigating this guy. I’m not sure if I posted this earlier or not. I know I contacted him about shipping and he was open to it but wanted to take the items down to the local shipping store to be packaged. That would be very expensive and I didn’t want any of it that bad. Great for a local though and he mentions having more stuff. I could have sworn the Spit was $70 last week but maybe I’m loosing my mind. Again…

Here is one of my success stories from Craigslist. :) After decades in the Arizona desert, This former salvage guy has moved back to Ohio with family. He brought with him everything he could fit in a U-Haul. Got this Sikorsky H-34 Helicopter sliding side door from him. It was modified to take a larger window. Also got a civilianized door with the stock window painted white with blue trim. Still working on cleaning it up. Along with the deal came landing gear doors for a T-2 Buckeye Navy trainer and a bunch of bits and pieces off various other military planes including cockpit overlay placards that were never installed (NOS), most from F-8 Crusaders and other various Navy planes. Items dated from the 50's and 60's. :!:

There goes my toy money

I'll post some more pics when I get stuff cleaned up.

Just need a couple of fender flags with Luftwaffe Eagles and another officer figure. 8)

Will be posting some more memorabilia Craiglist finds like the above helicopter door in Off Topic instead of BST

I just put my 1/32 WWII figures & vehicles on Craigslist in the L.A./O.C. area.
I hope for it to be hassle free as shipping is avoided & one can see the products in person assuming they live in the O.C./L.A. area.

This is what $20 got me from Craigslist. Was in Xenia on Dayton's listing. I was able to meet the guy on the way home today from a work project in Springfield to complete the deal so it wasn't much out of the way. :)
