WARNING: BROKEN ARROW TOYS

Post by zhukov » Thu Mar 29, 2012 1:35 am

I just wanted to post a heads up about broken arrow toys. I ordered in stock items October 24th, an order of just under 90 dollars worth. I have not received anything or any mails, at all. I have been emailing them to ask when I can expect something, and get no reply. I have emailed several times, including all my order info etc and get absolutely no response. I would avoid using them, as this is , To my mind, simple theft. I have waited just over 5 months for so much as an email or response, let alone what I ordered, and have gotten nothing. As a result I will be reporting it to PayPal as theft/fraud unless I receive my order, in hand, by the end of the month. I felt i should post all this here in case this is widespread with them, and also as people should know. I suggest others report them too if this has happened to others.

I hate when this happens in the hobby, as it ruins a lot of what it is about. It's a shame also as I have had so many good experiences buying from people and sites, like raginspoon etc over the years!

i'm afraid Paypal won't do anything for you now. You only have 45 days to make a claim. 5 months is way over their limit. The only chance is if you funded the Paypal payment with your credit card. In which case you call your credit card company and get them to reimburse you.

I'm sorry this has happened to you.....you should never, ever wait this long for an order. Always file a claim within 45 days if your order hasn't been received, regardless of what communicatin you've had or haven't had.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

Hi,

Tanks for the responses. I've been replying to the email address they emailed me from prior to me ordering. I forwarded the mails to the new email address. I have to say I'm not optimistic....a company that sends out no emails or product so long after an order (my email address has not changed!). I should also say that emails that were sent to the other email address in the past, were not returned. I do also have an account there, so they do have those bits of contact info for me.

Thanks for the responses, though. I just reckon the service level has been so bad that it is inexcusable no matter what they say next. Close to 6 months after ordering, and not so much as an email. For custom parts and reproductions etc, there are people who do it very well, and actually perform customer service, and, vitally, actually send the product you have paid for.

I assume it's clear, but as I know text on forum can be misread, this rant is absolutely not directed at anyone who responded, it is directed at broken service toys. I appreciate the responses.

I only dealt with this company once (for some BBI jet pilot helmets & GI Joe Mauler tank parts) and they had this odd thing whereby they posted your order status on their little forum deal as opposed to sending you an email. My package took a while to come (2-3 weeks) which I think included production time and shipping. I started to think it had become lost... I will agree they were difficult to communicate with and I've not dealt with them since.

No reason that your package should have taken 5 months and hopefully you can get it resolved.

Would be nice if a more reliable company (i.e. Maruder Gun Runners) took up making helmets, parts, and other such accessories.

Hi,

Yeah I have looked in the forums...and nada....

As for others making helmets etc, raginspoon make good stuff. I've made some customs from their helmets, and been more than happy with both service and goods. Shapeways is promising...I ordered a while back and must say I'm a fan of the packs of ak silencers (pds-1 silencers). Good quality product and service from them.
