Hello DV, pardon the question, but how come you're selling some of your pieces? By the way, today I bought the 1:32 scale P-47 (Eagleston). What a beauty! Do you have any 1:32s Jim?

Good day to you.

Propliners and such

Post by eddie372 » Mon Sep 26, 2005 12:08 am

Hello Jim:

Well, what do you know! I'm currently working in a 144 scale DC-6 propliner from Western Airlines. I picked up that particular one because the beauty of the paint job, not to mention the airplane itself.

You know, I also love the propliners of the 'golden age', especially the Super Constallations. That was the very first airplane I ever flew in. I was about seven years old and sat on the left side of the aircraft, window seat, exactly abeam the propeller on the number two engine. Needless to say, my nose had to be unglued from the window after the three hour flight. I remember it like it happened yesterday!

I'll let you know soon if I'll be purchasing one of your models.

Good day to you Jim
