Nice stuff you have but I think most people here are on the forum are looking to get a bit of a deal and not pay ebay or higher prices. Checkerboards corsairs can be had for $49.00 or better now and since they found a bunch more they are plentiful.

I agree, nice stuff, but you would be hard pressed to find a buyer here with those prices.. Good luck though!

I've been watching this thread and its starting to smell................. I know the seller and he never gouged anyone, has been here a long time. If you don't like his asking price , keep a civil tongue in your mouth and leave it be. No one said you have to buy it!
Now you all can go after me, and leave him alone, because I'm too old and right now too damn shitfaced to give a damn about your freakin' grip.

Kind of with JOC on this.

The prices are kind of high, especially considering most members here would like to get a better deal than Ebay. But if you don't want to buy, don't.

Certainly no need to slam the seller. If he doesn't sell them here, then he will take to Ebay.

Think you were a little tough on him. mikeg.

And who the hell are you, IRONFINS. Seems to be your THIRD post.

btw: somebody changed out that 21st 1/32 Corsair /262 combo. I think it's supposed to be a Zero no?.

You can pretty much get those asking prices on ebay, give or take a few. Nothin' wrong with that.

My 2 cents. :?

I’ve been watching this thread in hopes that the F-16 would come down a bit. I’m definitely in the market for one but can’t see spending that much regardless of its current market pricing. I think it was that little part where he said he was trying to make some money on them and not give them away that revved some people up. An honest statement but easily misconstrued as a smarty reply. Almost everyone here would like to make some profit on a sale of something. I’m no exception to that. Usually though most would prefer to go to eBay if they are going to pay prices like that. More protection is offered and there is accountability for a bad deal. At least to some degree. I think a lot of people feel eBay pricing is way over the top and not a true gauge of price anyway. If he took 20% off he may get more movement on them here. All are great planes and would sell quickly if priced more accordingly for this forum.

Good luck with your sale. You would definitely have a better chance of getting those prices on eBay.

I agree with everyone who feels it is his right to sell at his prices. I sent him a PM inquiring about a particular plane. It was a little pricey for me and thanked him for his time. He was a gentleman about it and said there was no problem at all. Simply put, if you want to pay the price, great. If you dont, then dont, but dont slam the guy because of the number he put after the dollar sign.

Just like posted before, my two cents, and probably worth even less!
