NIB P-38 California Cutie- to sell, or not to sell?
Just wondering how rare these are getting?
I found a NIB one in the back of my closet yesterday
I actually forgot I even had it.
I'm not sure if I want to sell it, or hang on to it.
I was just wondering what it's worth? I know that's contingent on whatever someone is willing to pay....but what is realistic, $100-$150-$200???
I just have no idea. Wanted some input to help me decide.

Re: P-38
Wow, thanks for the link. I'll have to watch & see if there's any takers.
Sorry, Snake, but gotta vote for Haleakala (had to read it off my plane to make sure I spelled it right!)...At least I can pronounce "California Cutie"!snake wrote:Got two of these myself,Little Iodine.
One displayed,and one still MIB.
I would say that CC would go for $200+.Maybe $250+.But it is really dependant on varying factors.
It's probably the nicest of the P-38's, so I would think twice about selling.
But I do agree, hang on to the P38's if you can!

Re
Thanks for the feedback guys.
I think I'll hang onto it then.
Maybe I'll open it up one of these days!

LOL! Notice I said it was one of the best schemes out there. My Haleakala is my favorite as well but when I went to Google the correct spelling I butchered it so bad it didn’t even come close to showing up. Had to leave that part out but you are 100% spot on. Haleakala is top notch in my book.456THBG wrote:

That’s a good choice. This plane will go no place but up in value. Mine is still boxed as well and will probably stay that way due to space constraints.Little Iodine wrote:Thanks for the feedback guys.

Actually have to go with Haleakala myself. Thanks toyktdlgh, and 456THBG.
But the California Cutie is certainly a very close second.
My advice would also be to keep any P-38 that you have.Only going to be harder to find, and more expensive later.
One of my favourite 1/18 models.I have all the schemes.

If somebody wanted to "make me an offer I can't refuse" I might consider it!

I like all the OD green P-38's.
Unfortunately all I have is the fictitious Samantha Peyton which isn't too bad. I snoozed I loosed.
Heyekalea or whatever it's called is the best, second is California Cutie, followed by a distant third Samantha P.
