I'm no pro modeler but repainted the plane to remove spots. I used the "make up" method to dab out spots. Spots are still subtlety there as seen in person on the plane body, makes for nice weathering. Only downside is there might be some minute "crumbs of paint" on random panels.
Everything is in tact except for one broken tab on its right tail fin that joins it to the plane, so it'll flop unless fixed . Looking for $210 shipped.

You could sell it for parts. I would buy the complete Canopy and front fuselage for $100. If you do so, let me know.

IFLABS:
Sorry to hear you're selling your F-14--especially after doing such a great spot removing job.

That plane is too nice for parts.

Sell it before the main gear breaks...

It's been a long road, but I am still in the game.

IFLABS:
Have you considered buying one of the acrylic stands mentioned on the 1/18 board and displaying your F-14 with the landing gear up?

It's a love hate thing. The plane is incredibly nice but it fails to deliver durability.

Yes, if no one picks this up, this is the direction I'm heading to.
