Ditto

For some reason I was thinking PBY when I entered this room.
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Let me hear your guns!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: My what?
Colonel "Madman" Maddox: Your guns! Ack, ack, ack, ack, ack!
Captain Wild Bill Kelso: [fires his airplane's guns] AHHHH!

This was orginally a 21st century prototype. Now wheter or not it made it to the mold stage who knows.

I would much rather see this type of item made rather than say the F-14. At least the PBR saw real action and not just Top Gun competitions.

I really want this. Why did they not ever make this? Every time that I see that pic, I feel like I am missing out on something.

You could have a VC sampan too and sink it with bottle rockets off the PBR!

The gulf was a turkey shoot for the flyboys. PBR's got to eyeball it with the enemy plenty.

Famous quote from Apocalypse Now. I might have paraphrased slightly.
Of course it is hard to do a tilted voice over in text...

Actual quote from the movie, "It's a way we had over here for living with ourselves. We cut 'em in half with a machine gun and give 'em a Band-Aid. It was a lie. And the more I saw them, the more I hated lies."

I would buy one, but I'd rather have a 1:18 PT-Boat. And yes, it would have to float. Play value is importante.

A 1:18 PBR would be an interesting and desireable option for a certain segment of collectors, but it seems it'd be pretty difficult to get it to a true 1:18 scale.

A real PBR is 30 feet long. If my calculations are correct, a 1:18 version would have to be 22.5 inches long
