Nothing personal but if I have to wait 6 months to buy/sell/trade here then so do you. Forum rules state this.
Is that you John Wayne, this is me!!

Yes unfortunately those are the rules but they were made for a reason. To help keep trading here safe for all the members. Maybe a forum member that lives near you can help out by standing in for you here? It does sound like a good cause and it looks as if you have your own store so maybe someone can buy them and sell them to you in person? Just an idea but in the end rules are rules. It wouldn’t be fair to let you trade here and not everyone else before their time is up. Good luck with your search Mike!

Sorry, was unaware of the six month rule. No worries, just trying to give some kids a great memory...

Ignore my last request for Double Nuthin' Mustangs. Turns out Walmart AND Target are selling them.

Cranedriver:

Everything I posted earlier was absolutely true (i.e. looking for 10 Double Nuthin' Mustangs for the grandchildren of the actual pilot.) I happened to get lucky about a day or two after posting and find 18 of them myself (i.e. with no guidance from this site), which I was able to grab. I made no profit on the sale of the 10 aircraft to the pilot's grandchildren. It was enough for me to be able to give his grandkids a great item to hang onto. Ideally, I could have sold each one of these aircraft on E-bay for $35 to $50 or more apiece, but that would not have been nearly as rewarding for me. There are just some things you do because it's the right thing to do, not because you are chasing the almighty dollar...

I did have a few left over if you do the math, but I wont' elaborate any further since I can't post things for sale in this forum yet.....

So, you can judge for yourself based on all the facts, not just what you THINK you know. I have removed my earlier post about looking for these Mustangs as it is no longer relevant.

Yeah maybe I judged you to hard it just seems fishy to me. I certainly hope you are on the up and up.

Also you need to fix your site I was able to place a order for 100 of these planes. I know you don't have that many. I of course did not complete the order.

I'm a CPA full time if that means anything to you. I started the aviation collectibles business because I have a passion for it and enjoy meeting many interesting people, not really because I want to make a pile of money at it. I try to give some of my profits back to aviation museums to help preserve their aircraft.

If you found 18 Double Nuthin P-51's so handily, you certainly should have also purchased a PowerBall ticket, because you sure were a lucky fella that day.

If you have been following this aircraft on ebay. You would have seen that Warpaint bought several of them at prices higher then he is now selling them for.

Only an observation.

Personally, I don't believe the P-51 "Double Nuthin" is worth the asking price.
The same high price trends happened with the Fw-190's, P-51 Sharkmouths and Spitfires.

Now that the Olympics are over, I think we will see the "Double Nuthin" on the shelves at Walmart within the month.
If you noticed the packaging for both the P-51 "Double Nuthin" and FW 190F-8 "Black 2" are back to the standard 21C green, which means it isn't a Target exclusive anymore.

If I find one I'll pick one up.
If not, it's not the end of the world.

Just my 0.02
