---A Christmas dream----update

Post by VMF115 » Sun Dec 02, 2007 5:05 pm

Here is what I am looking for new or used.

If used they must have every thing including original packaging and must not be broken.

FOV 1:16 s-1 or S-2 king tiger
FOV 1:16 S-1 tiger
FOV 1:16 S-2 tiger

I have been gainfully employed now for a few months now and have gotten caught up on my past bills
I have been waiting to get these all year now…..I thought I would ask any of you guys here first.
It is one of my dreams to get all three of them before Christmas but I don’t have the funds, so I would like to put all three of them on layaway insted.

I'm not aware of any online retailer that does layaway sales, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to ask. If you are patient and persistent you can sometimes find "fire sale" type prices on these FOV 1:16 pieces on ebay, but again no layaway. I believe there's a Wittman Tiger up there right now for about $300, I'm not all that familiar with these but that seems like a good price to me.

Or you simply just start saving your money...

A little bit each week and before you know it, you'll have more than enough for the FOV Tiger or Kingtiger. Yes, it may mean you cut back on other expenditures (like buying more XD stuff) but saving money will most certainly work to your advantage

I tried that already.......
I need to put it on layaway, If it’s not, my girl friend of 9 years will use the money for something more useful, I need to make a commitment so I can say “see I need to send this money to entity A”
If she where to find out that I had a stash of money she would think of just about every thing else to get.
she know how much money I make and I know how much money she makes. we pay the bill togther, and pool our money.

I would like to get boh tiger I's and at least one king tiger.

Probably will not happen any ways

That one with Meg Ryan where she meets some guy and falls in love, but then gets upset and they get together at the end? Which one is that?

(Answer: all of them)

The trade off in my home goes something like this: one hour of military channel, otherwise known as "that damn aviation channel" equals five hours of Lifetime. Go figure. :(

I feel for you and hope you get more sympathy at home than I do. All I can say is for a $400 Tiger I would be willing to kiss a lot of butt!

I am glad that you got what you wanted. Merry Christmas
