Am I missing something here? Maybe 21C is making Treasure hunt planes or something. Giving what I just got for my Cobra maybe there all T-Hunts. Check it out.

I'd say that's a pretty good deal for the winner, given current prices for some of those planes individually. Shipping could be a tad steep though.

That works out to be about $64 a plane. I guess that’s not as bad as I thought. Still, I think it will cost more than $75 to ship those things. Maybe that’s the reason for the high starting bid.

Gosh! I just turned a "rare" Checkertail into a Herky Green custom.

The horror!

Speaking of expensive models, here is another one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... :IT&ih=016

But since this is a HpH Model I guess it´s worth the price even if I never really had one in my hands.....

believe it or not, that's a bargain price for that plane. It would probably cost close to $3000 by the time you paid shipping, if you ordered it from HPH, plus you'd have to wait about a year or so to get it...

Anybody stumble across these yet? Looks like a 21C RC Panzer IV knock-off. With little fenders no less.

And even cooler is an Abrams on a Panzer IV chassis.

those Piv knock offs were pointed out a while ago. May make good, cheap fodder for doing PIV custom work.

They usually can be had for under $20....some sellers ask $40+. Don't fall for it.

I'll be right back, I'm heading to the closest TRU as they've got at least 5 of those on the shelves as of yesterday, anybody want some? I saw several at pretty much every TRU in my AO this past weekend!

Are you serious? These have not been in TRU for about 4 years. I have a small collection of Samantha Peytans that I found down in Puerto Rico . They had 6 of them at one of there TRU's . Probably the most ever paid for the 21st P-38 if you count travel by air, hotel and food for the whole family.

I think so. He was referring to the Quadmount trailer and not the P-38. I would be greatly surprised if anyone was to find a P-38 sitting on a TRU shelf.

Good God guys your right  I looked at Migmad's post on the $400 P-38 then I clicked on the quad trailer post and I combine the both of them in my head. Sorry guys it is hell when you get old.
I wish that I could say it wont happen again but I would be wrong. Time for a tall glass of XD to wash down the shame.

lol as mentioned below, I was of course meaning the quads, if there were P38's on the shelves, well....there wouldn't be as I would have purchased them all. :-)
