The Motor Pool has them up for pre-order, maybe Lightning could tell you when these will be ready to ship out.

Hi,
Funny you should ask. I happen to have called them yesterday and again they're claiming its "on the water." This time its purportedly due in three weeks, which would (barring any unforseen issues) place them at the manufacturer's facility around mid November. My gut is telling me that this time its on track, since its being shipped with their latest Me 262 to reduce shipping costs. Shipping LTL (Less than Load) from China is prohibitively expensive, particularly for a small item like this.
I also asked about the Panzer III Ausf. L in winter camo but was not given any timetable regarding its arrival, even though its a re-paint. My guess is they cant ship it LTL without something else to reduce shipping costs. Dont know if its even gone into production.
I havent received any further word regarding the rest of their armor line, even though I've been pestering them for news (there goes that damn NY attitude again

). With more competition entering the fray, some with identical releases, the cost of zinc on the rise, and other mitigtating factors, I think they're reassessing the range. Jason could better give everyone here a better idea as to where they stand.
On a separate subject, dont be surprised if more companies go the plastic route for their vehicles. I've been told that with zinc prices on the rise again, and labor issues continuing to surface, that some manufacturers are forgoing metal entirely to defray costs. Whether or not these companies slug their vehicles to give them some heft might be their only option to avoid the so-called "rice cake effect" some have already taken issue with.

Lightning, for the update. I knew you'd come through. New Yorkers always do.
