End of days? (cold steel)

Post by olifant » Mon Oct 08, 2007 2:05 pm

TKO, have we seen the end of cold steel? Everything I have seen made after the Opel trucks and the pre-built M7 priest have been 100% ABS.

Good question! I have no idea what the construction method will be for 32x tanks in the future in the long term. All I know at the moment is that there is some new developments in 1:32 ground vehicles! Watch AREA-21 in the next day or 2 for more info!

Hehe. :D Right now its a game of chicken. Unimax will be announcing their 2008 lineup in two weeks and it looks like 21st Century is playing their cards close to their vest until the Show opens. Cant say I blame either one of them for keeping mum a little while longer...

Well I'll be. No sooner do I open my yap and 21st shows us a sweet-looking Czec-built 38t medium tank. Very nice, even if it is all plastic. Any word as to when it'll be released?

Sorry, but I like to do conversions and detailling. The Diecast stuff is a ROYAL PAIN to work on without a machine shop available. Give me plastic any day!

The diecast adds more realism to the piece, I think. :D
