One of the few forgotten poses in military figures.

didn't Marx make some poses like that for their soldiers, in the '60's?

Maybe the guy on the left is using a new method of walking slowly through a mine field? With his pants down he has to go slow and he is low enough to the ground to look for distortions in the soil.
And the second guy could be using his button/compass to get his beaings. He just didn't feel like removing the button first.
Or it could be just nature calling.....

Not like that ! ... Poses like that were considered too explicit , especially for children then.
Alot of sense this made.
...... but they did make some dead German guys w/ MG-42's and some shot up & wounded U.S. guys though. ... I still have mine.

It is certainly hard to pull off that intimidating "master race" stuff when your pants are around your ankles!
These are great, where did you get them?

I just got the perfect dio idea: those two German soldiers doing their stuff by some trees, while across the way a bunch of American soldiers (quite possibly supported by a tank or two) wait in ambush to catch them in a particularly embarassing moment

I like it. Or even better, just use the leak taking figure, have him facing a tree, and use an Allied commando sneaking up from behind with a knife at the ready.

Oh and btw, I checked the Verlinden homepage, and you're right MG-42. They also got another set with American GI's.

Didn't, just found them doing a search for other figures.
but I was pondering.
At the moment. I am looking for Luftwaffe FlaK crews..I got the excellent DML/Dragon set for the 2cm FlaK 38, but I need to get another for a 2cm FlaKvierling 38...Tristar has a 5 man set, but they are Heer IIRC, and set for 1941 on the Russian Offensive.
I need to find Kirin's old set of crew members which has 4 in European Theather kit.
