The Walmarts in central Illinois have been getting the 1/48 silver/green Tony's.

My Walmart just got in a ton of 1/32

King Tiger (Tri color #112)
Flakpanzer IV Wirbelwind
Flakpanzer IV Mobelwagen
Sturmgeshultz IV
JAGDPANZER (New darker paint)
JAGDTIGER
PANZER IV AUSF
Opel Halftracks (Grey)

My question is what do I get? I picked up the King Tiger because it is my favorite and they only had one...all the others they had 2 or more of.

Go with the Opel halftracks. Every army has to have trucks and haftracks to haul troops and supplies.

The Wal-Mart in Grosmont center (San Diego) had 4 Spits and several Pz4, Shermans, Hetzers and 155's for $9 today. The Spits looked lousy so I left them. Might have been a mistake if this is the end of 21st at Wal-Mart.

I gotta start relying more on internet sources for this stuff- getting out and driving around for the scenery and thrill of the hunt is becoming too much of a letdown.

Walmart hidden markdowns

Post by bboc » Wed Dec 31, 2008 5:12 pm

If you are lucky enough to find a WM with 21st stuff, scan the price. I just got some that were marked down but not on the shelf sticker. Luckily there was a self scanner close by. The $14.94 items were at $9.00.

My local Walmart had all its 1/32 armor for $9, there were no figures or airplanes left.

Went to 3 other Walmarts in my AO and none had 1/32 A/C. All had their 1/48 Tonys for $7 (had a ton of them) and their armor for $9.

Same here. I picked up an old Brummbar and the DAK Opel truck for $9 each. Both were heavy and I am pretty sure they are Cold Steel. Worrisome that these are old stock filtering up to retail rather than new production. :?

If anyone runs across a 1/32 S2 Hetzer or Wirbelwind I would be interested in trading or buying
Thanks

Found the complete assortment of the new FOV 1/32 and 1/18 products today!

New 1:32 vehicles include the Stryker, M2 Bradley. M1 Abrams, and M109 Paladin. There are also plastic versions of the 1:48 scale blackhawk and 1:32 scale P-51. The new 1:32 figure packs are nice, though they are all the same old figures for the most part. What is a welcome addition, however, are the Tanker figures :D

Hi Mikeg. Can you post some pics?

stuka, it was at the alpharetta location off mansell, leave one of the marders for me, I would like to pick it up tomorrow - stug, I have just enought ADD to make posting pictures akin to taking a calculous test for me- but there are pictures already in this sightings thread or a hetzer/marder thread a page or two back.

Oh yeah, there is still a hetzer sitting on the shelf, along with the two marders (Hildegard marked) tri color- not 1/48th!!!!!!!!!

The Targets in my area have the 1/32 Bravo Team vehicles. I picked up the Stryker. There were also M1A1s, Bradleys and mobile Howitzers. They were actually a little weathered. For $19.99 a piece I'll probably have to get them all. I'm definitely going to buy at least one more Stryker. I saw them unpacking a box and of the 6 vehicles in the box only one was the Stryker.... That's the one I bought.
Walmart had the 35t and Hetzer on sale for $9.

Stopped at 3 Targets in the past 2 days. All 3 had the 1/18 paratroopers, 1/32 figures. One had no vehicles or planes, One had 4 P-51s, and the 3rd had the stryker, Bradley, Howitzer and Abrams

I saw the fov 1/32nd P-51 blue nose in target today in the smaller 21st sized boxes. Not bad, but I still want a 21st bluenose- only in a dogfight kit, though, I think.

I'm completely clueless as to the 1/32 scale stuff so sorry if this is old news. Saw tons of the Four Star boxed 21st figures and vehicles on clearance at the Lithonia/Stonecrest Target and some over at the Cobb Parkway Target. First time I've seen these at Target in this area so I thought I'd let you know.

I happened to stop by the cobb pkwy target on the way back to smyrna and only saw two green 18th m1a1s, 4 18th shermans- both schemes, some 32nd armor, 2 blue nosed p-51s, and lots of 32nd pegged figures- all FOV stuff- they has some four star stuff recently, what clearance aisle did it end up on, I did'nt notice any around this reset aisle

The TRU a couple of miles south has pitiful 21st stock, almost no FOV, the space alloted being pitiful- three shelves deep and about three feet wide. A whole aisle is dedicated to pte and gi joe filler. The kennesaw, buckhead, and alpharetta TRUs have a much better selection

The walmart up street only has a little of the new old stuff-32nd and thats about it.

Cobb Pkwy Four Star stuff was clearanced on one of the toy endcaps and there were only about 10 or so items (sorry didn't look to see what, just noticed the packaging).

Lithonia had a ton more stuff, figures on the regular pegs and some armor and aircraft on the aisle endcap. Tons of the guys with shells that someone was looking for recently (can't recall who). TRU over there was decent too, picked up both versions of the 1:18 251 PAK40. It's a trek out there though and 20 is the worst road ever.

Any 1:18th stuff out at the Morrow TRU?
