The M4 Sherman was - due to the "offensive" wording on the side, which read "Battlin Bitch." Shermans with the words removed (and all other 1:72 tanks reported) are back in stores now.

I'm not sure if this the proper thread for Recon Requests or not, but I'm looking for the 1/32 scale M3A2 FOV Bradley in Woodland Camo from the Action Series (SKN:90302). I've been checking out the 4 Target stores in my area and have not found one yet. If anyone runs across one, please send me a PM.

Thanks.

On a recent visit to a local Target, I found four multiple launch rocket system vehicles. I thought these vehicles were still popular? I know they were fetching big bucks awhile back on evilbay. :?

The TRU's in my area don't carry much of anything in the way of vehicles. The two stores I visited last night had a lot of soldier sets, helicopters and a few jeeps, but that's about it. The four Target stores had plenty of the Paladins, M270's and the AAVPs. I still see them on eBay selling in the mid $30 range, sometimes more. I have yet to see the M3A2 (90302) on eBay. Same goes for the Action Series M1A2 Abrams (90305) with the brown and black camo scheme. One odd sighting last night were Enthusiast versions of the M3A2 Desert Storm Bradleys packaged in Action Series boxes. I found those at two stores. Even more odd is the fact that Target carries the Enthusiast Line on their website, but not the Action Series, which they and TRU distribute for Unimax exclusively.

Cyberhobby Pieces

Post by WGP Klaus » Tue Jan 31, 2006 6:44 am

A local HS chain in my AO has recently started carrying CyberHobby 72nd pieces such as the following:
- P47C-5 "Holy Joe"
- F14A VX-4 Black Bunny
- F15E 335FS 4th Fighter Wing
- Horst's Pause in Pavlograd Ferdinand
- Surrounded in Schwetzingen Jagdtiger
- Challenger 2 with Desert Rats Royal Scots

The F14 was the most expensive, priced at $59.95, the F15 was priced at $26.95 the P47 was priced at $20.95 and all the armor was priced at $22.95. The best part is, this particular hobby chain has a program where for so much money spent, you get a $10.00 gift certificate, and with all the spending at this particular store over the past 6+ months I've managed to receive quite a few of these, and used 8 of them this past weekend to purchase the CH pieces (and multiples in two instances) listed above. Talking with one of the store managers, he informed me they'll be getting in anywhere from 3-4 more CH exclusive pieces in the next week or so, and I'm looking forward to picking those up as I didn't buy any of these pieces when offered originally by CH. Don't know if this is a situation where all hobby chains are picking up said pieces, but if you've got a store that deals heavily in Dragon, it's worth checking out?

Local TRU seems to be restocking the FOV's Paladin and AAV along with the MLRS. I remember when these vehicles couldn't be found anywhere.

I think they're actually overstocked with those particular vehicles. I went to a new Target store and found the same assortment. Also noticed more Anthusiast versions of the Bradley packaged in Action Series boxes, plus an M1 Abrams packaged the same way.

Just the 109, P-47 and P-51 repaints? Where are the Zeros and Macchis?

Wow, we are tough to please....
I doubt every new plane will go to every store. Just like you saw the new 1:18 Stuka & Corsair but not the P-51...similarly what goes around may not come around at WM.

I hear you Tman, it's the same here in Miami with these dog-gone Wallys and TRUs. Always the same stuff and a long wait for the newer models.

And in the west as well!!! I was just at a couple stores in my area yesterday and there was nothing new in 32x, still a couple more to check and I may have to wait a week for the stuff to trickle down. At least they're here!

I found the 32x Macchi's and Zero's at a Wal Mart in Fresno, Ca. :D The assortment was the same as described in Bruzzer's earlier post. I'm in the process of opening & assembling the planes now. They appear to be the best 32x planes to date!

I also found the new 32x ME-109E repaint and Polish P-47 repaint at another store in my area.
