I don't know, there wasn't a price sticker and I didn't bother to scan them.. Sorry..bboc wrote:What was WalMart's price on the individual FOV soldiers?
There seemed to be a large selection of modern and WWII American troops.. I don't know how many individual pieces there are, but the Walmart had a stack of about 30 assorted..

Cleaning out the backroom at WalMart
I had just been to a local WalMart Thursday, so didn't expect much today (Saturday) when my wife wanted to go there for some snack gifts. Lo and behold, a 21st Coastal Defence Playset! This WalMart hadn't had the playsets for months. So either they got a shipment of playsets in and this was the only one left, or it had been languishing in a back storeroom hidden away until the Christmas rush cleaned out the stuff hiding it. Either way, I'm happy.

Visited the local Wallyworld today and nothing new except restocks of the current 32x planes and restock of the XD Sahl, Hackl 109s and AF 104's with a huge restock of 1/144 tanks..

Found the new 32x Brumbars, Stug IVs, and Panzer IV Ds at two Wal Marts in the Fresno area today
The Brumbar looks interesting and quite unique, though the green & tan cammo pattern leaves something to be desired. The Panzer IV D, while sculpted well, has an overall unexciting weathered gray paintscheme. The Stug IV was my favorite (and the one I picked up). It has the same cammo pattern as the Brumbar, but includes sideskirts and I think has an opening commander's hatch.
Out of curiosity, anyone by chance sighted the new 32x aircraft yet?

It must be Christmas!
Dropped into my localest Glen Burnie, MD WalMart this afternoon and found the new 32x Brumbars, Stug IVs, and Panzer IV Ds. Also the 1/144 series, all of them. They weren't on an endcap this time, just piled four high in neat rows on the shelf. Won't stay that neat very long, I'll bet!
Then I dropped into a Target and found the FOV 1/72 Tigers. No King Tigers. They must have been picked up before I showed up.
What a surprising set of finds!

the three new tanks finally showed up here in atlanta, I got all three, of course. I realize now that space is not only an issue with the 1/18 products, but the 1/32 as well-around 30 and counting. I am a collector, not much of a modeller or I could probably be little more discerning.. but the more the merrier. Also, the new review thread has really good ideas on improving these new ones.
The FOV 1:32 soldiers showed up here in the Camden, DE Walmart along with the 21st Brummbar and STUGIV. The figures are really cool looking. I really wish that 21st would do the Brummbar in 1:18!!!!

I have been hitting my local Walmarts just about everyday in hopes of seeing something, but so far NADA..mikeg wrote:Any hearsay on the upcoming zero and maachi 1/32nd planes?. I thought gossip on availability centered around the Christmas season. The new 1/32 armour and 1/18 109 repaints have taken up the slack, but any humint on the situation?

I've already got the "Brummbar", 2-Stug IV's...Passed,on the Panzer IV-D model though,...FOV's version of both F-types, blows it away, completely !

Went to my local Walmart today..
No new 32x Aricraft
They did get the Stug, Brumbar, and PzIV in, but for the most part, still existing stock with bare shelves where the new stuff goes..

I saw the damndest thing tonight. Two of the four Walmarts I frequent had the CDC/Matchbox/Dinky Shermans (75 and 76)and some aircraft (Aleutian Tiger's P-40, Eagleston P-47 and a P-51). I wasn't aware these were available anyplace other than a Tuesday Morning type store. Now I know where to get my Shermans to fight the Dragon Armor Panzers.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
