How many new releases in the last 12 months?

Post by olifant » Fri Aug 24, 2007 6:35 pm

I got to thinking about how 1/32 has grown versus 1/18 and how many more releases we have seen in the smaller scale. Which releases have come in the last 12 months? My memory is fuzzy but I think it has been:

21C
8 In Howitzer
155MM Howitzer
Firefly
Sherman Dozer
Porche Turret Kingtiger
Opel Blitz
Maultier
Priest
F4U Corsair
BF109G
P51B/C
Maachi Variants
All the figure sets and listening posts/mortar pits
Rereleases of old molds in the twin packs

FOV

M3 Grant
M5 Stuart
Sd.Kf 7/2 Prime Mover
Sd.Kf Flak Wagon

Let me know if I've missed anything. Damn, it has been a good year!

Still thinking, but with FOV there's the M3 Lee, the M3 Halftrack, HMARS? Rocket Launcher system, and I think the 88mm gun and the 105mm howitzer. With 21c, there's the Stuka that you forgot, as well as perhaps the Zeros (though those were first out over a year ago...). There's also been a bunch of repaints of older vehicles from both 21c and FOV.

Either way, while it may not have been the best year for new 1:18 (though there was some new armor and a couple new aircraft and new figures) 1:32 has really been cooking :D

That is quite a list of new releases. I often second guess myself for giving up on the 1/32nd scale way back when. Now it's just too costly to try and catch up.
