Looking for turret boxes for 1/72 Admiral Pz-III-Hs

Post by ltcbj » Sun Aug 19, 2007 3:51 am

Being the proud commander of a company (+/-) of Admiral Pz III-Hs I am in search of rear turret cargo boxes. Does anyone make this accessory in 1/72d scale?

I am personally put out that Admiral failed to include that little item on their PzIII-H and it seems like a major oversight on an otherwise wonderful little tank model.

Just BTW: The five gallon jerry cans on the left rear track cover seem a bit largish to me as well. They are easily removable but i can't quite figure out what scale they seem to fit in.

Thought I'd kick this back up and hope for a notice....

If you need that many of them, I'd go the way of buying a 1/72 kit of the Pz III from Italieri or someone, and then making a mold from that one to cast a bunch of resin boxes. If you've never cast parts in resin before, you could do a search online and find plenty of tutorials, or even ask for help in our own customization forum. I think it's a pretty simple procedure.
