Beginning to see the effects of a weak dollar (vs. the Euro and Pound) on Ebay. Some of these things are going for a lot more than usual:

1st Edition Minichamps Tiger I - 28 bids - $163.00

2nd Edition Minichamps Jagdpanther - 15 bids - $196.00

2nd Edition Minichamps Panther - 19 Bids - $197.00

1st Edition Minichamps Jagdpanther - 8 bids - $199.00

The weakness of the dollar really stinks when you actually travel to those countries! When I studied in London for a few months in 2003, the pound usually hovered at about $1.65; when I visited London again this past summer, the ratio was about a pound to $1.70!. Roughly speaking, thats nearly $2 for 1 pound. Each time I went to the ATM (or cashpoint as the Brits call them) I had to think that when I withdrew 20 pound, that it was nearly $40! That wonderful Corgi bomber, so tempting at half-price discount in the Modelzone store, actually cost around $100 when the price difference was worked out :(
