Question about Minichamps Abrams

Post by Mr. Football » Sun Jan 23, 2005 9:34 am

Does anybody here own one? Can you give us a review?

Are the roadwheels supposed to be painted black on the outside? I wasn't sure.

Also, are the IFR panels on the front of the turret supposed to be flush?

It looks really nice, I just wanted to know if these details were indeed correct.

I was given one for Christmas. I can't speak for the technical accuracy, but I can vouch for the fine details.

The detailing is exceptional, with many small parts, all well assembled. The hatchlines are well defined, and the small lettering is quite crisp. Even the 'grill' on the top hull near the rear is an fine screen, not a stencil.

When I opened the box, I went "wow".

Below are some pictures I have not yet 'officially' posted on my website.

That's enough for me. This will be my next purchase.

Thanks for the pics, Mike!

BTW, love the site!
