New Enthusiast FOV Lee on Badcat - No weathering?

I have been waiting for the enthusiast Lee for a while now since it is one of my favorite tanks. After reading my email from BadCat which said it is now in stock I checked it out. Where is all the FOV trademark weathering? You know, the mud, dirt, exhaust stains, rust and all that. All I see on the tank is some silver dry brushing. Is this pre-production sample maybe? I hope it is.

I was looking at the same picture today and don't think its a pre-production sample. Its nice how BCA has finally started to show multiple photos of the actual products instead of the company promo shots  The Lee, Stuart, and Halftrack all do not seem to have the heavy level of weathering that FOV Enthusiast vehicles have had in the past. The Lee seems to have a slightly different shade of green, but that may just be the photo lighting... The tanks look good, but save for the few extra figures or accessories, they do not seem to be that far removed from the Action grade vehicles I've found at Target for less...

What does look cool, however, are the FOV 1:72 Higgins boat and Halftrack/105mm Howitzer sets. I may just order those 8)

Yes, I was impressed with the landing craft myself. I also like what BadCat has done with the pictures, the multiple views are great! Anyhow, you might be right about the weathering. If that is so I will try to find an action grade at Target. I saw one last month but didn't get it because I was waiting for the enthusiast.
I haven't seen one since then, and I don't remember if it had those horrible thick black panel lines like the action Grant. That would kill it for me. My Stuart doesn't so hopefully they stopped doing that. If it doesn't then I will pick one up and do the weathering myself.

Thanks for the info schizuki. I can do the tracks and weathering myself so that's not really a problem. It's good news about the paint as well and the absence of the black lines especially. Does anyplace online sell the action series? The usual places I buy FOV from online only deal in enthusiast, there aren't any on Ebay either and my Target and TRU aren't very reliable when it comes to FOV armor.

Yeah I hope so. I did see the one there a while back but I haven't seen another. TRU still has the Grant, maybe they will get one in.
