I've picked up that kit quite a few times but It looked to good to be true. I thank you for confirming my hunch that the kit is a POS.

You can always pack up your used "kit" and return it to W-M for a full cash refund within 90 days. When they ask all you need is to say that it didn't work as advertised. Then they tape it up and put it back on the shelf or return it to the distributor. W-M is very good about returns.
