Can anyone tell me how many Dragon Armor vehicles (regular issue) have been released (shipped to stores) to date? When was that first Wittmann Tiger released?
Also, how many Cyber-Hobby Exclusives released as well.

Wow.. So nutty he had to post it twice..lol
That list sounds about right.. I have 99% of them, but only one of each..
If I had 5 of the #60001, I think I could part with a few.. That would probably pay for a good portion of my collection..

didn't post it twice - one list was Cyber hobby - one was standard issue

and I did sell a bunch of 60001's to help pay for my hobby - I used to have 15 60001's .... I am simply an avid Dragon Armor, Warbird and action figure collector and keep a few of each for my personal collection and hold a few extra hoping they will increase in value someday
Regular Issue

Should'nt you include the travel lock up and open mine plough variants.
They were issued the same time as the others.
The only limitation was they were packed 1 in 6.

So now, how much would it cost to acquire the entire regular issue collection to date (no specials or CH exclusives)?

by smh_1021
Yes - you are right - there are six more limited editions (two Jagdtiger, two Ferdinands and two Abrams) - I just pulled the list from the DragonUSA web-site.
And, I understand there will be a limited edition AAV7A1 'Somalia'.
Apologies.

I guess it depends - not many, if any retailers have all the items in stock anymore, and the 60001, 60002 (Tigers), 60003, 60004 (King Tigers), 60005, 60006 (Jagdpanthers) are selling for a premium price based upon popularity and out-of-production status.
FYI - I also forgot the Weekend-of-Heroes King Tiger.

smh I don't really feel any remorse for you in your statement of having five each of the tanks.Calling yourself a collector is one thing but it looks as if your in the business to make money as I see you as a regular on ebay selling Cyber exclusives for triple the price and more.Congradulations on making money if someone is willing to pay that much for them but I just see it as "tank hording" in my eyes.It makes it harder for the small time collectors that mostly visit this board to try and obtain these tanks one at a time to have as part of there collection.Sorry to be a little harsh and maybe some of this should be directed at Dragon themselves for poor marketing choices and distributing all these exclusives through Cyber Hobby.
Okay I put down my violin and I'll get off my pedastal and yes I like wine with my cheese.

Here we go again with the attacks. Come on guys.
People don't have to buy these on Ebay, if they know where to get them. For those who don't know where to get them, then sellers (like smh) provide a good service. They wouldn't buy them otherwise.
I see nothing wrong with selling off your extras to buy more stuff. I'm sure there are a number of people here who've been lucky enough to sell some of their collection, in order to focus on collecting something else.
Think about it for a second...if there weren't any people in the hobby for financial gain, we wouldn't have any products to collect.
Let's veer away from any personal attacks and please stick to the topic.

Mr. Football - I appreciate the support. But, I would still like the
opportunity to respond to the individual's post. (And, just for
clarification, financial gain is NOT why I collect Dragon or other
World War II items).
First - I didn't ask anyone for any sympathy or 'remorse' because I had
five (5) of each Dragon Armor item (or other Dragon items, for that
matter) that have been issued. I assumed some would think that I was
'nuts' for keeping that many in a collection (as does my wife, sometimes) -
thus, the comment.
Second - your comment about whether I am a collector or not is
inappropriate. Given that I may have more than 1 or 2 items in a
collection does not negate that I may be a collector, and that I may sell
some items to (1) certainly try and recoup some dollars to pay for the
hobby and (2) make a few bucks here and there, does not disqualify me
from being a collector.
Third - Maybe before you categorize the fact that I purchase a number of
the items as 'hoarding', you should consider that I acquired many of the
items (particularly the replicas that have become more difficult to find)
when originally introduced. At that time, I had NO idea whatsoever that
finding or purchasing a 60001, 60002, etc. would be a challenge.
At that time, I purchased the items (usually 4 or 5) given I was impressed with
the Dragon product. As opportunities became available from retailers,
other collectors, etc. to acquire addition models, I did so. I guess I should
apologize - when a overseas retailer offered me seven (7) '60001'
Wittmann Tigers for 100.00, instead of buying the replicas, I should have
taken out a full-age add and provided contact information for that retailer.
I probably would have made some individuals on the the 'Small Scale'
board aware of the opportunity - but, unfortunately, I have only been a
member for a few weeks.
Fourth - Yes, I sell some items on E-Bay. Given that collecting the items is
not inexpensive (especially, given that I collect more than one of each)
and that Dragon Armor is not the only collectibles that I am interested in
(i.e. Dragon Warbirds, Dragon action figures, GMP die-cast, Eagles
International die-cast, some Franklin Mint/Armour, World War II related
fine-art, etc.), selling some items helps to allow me to continue collecting.
I have yet to notice where I have bought a few items and depleted the
inventory so that no other collector had an opportunity to buy the item.
The availability from other retailers and Dragon remains for quite a while
after I have bought the item(s) - some individuals are simply not
interested (or unable) to purchase from the manufacturer and E-Bay
is an alternative. I have some individuals that I add additional items to an
order for because affording the shipping from Hong Kong (or other location
where the items are distributed from) on 1 or 2 item orders is
difficult - and I essentially ask for what I paid to help another collector.
Unfortunately, I have seen instances in which attempting to help
another 'collector' by providing an item for a minimal amount (or an
amount substantially below what other are asking) has evolved into seeing
the item for sale on E-Bay.
The Exclusives that Dragon (or CyberHobby) offers are not concealed and
are available for quite some time following introduction. And, given that I
have not seen a situation where I placed an order and the availability has
changed, help me understand how that has made acquiring the item
difficult or impossible.
Regards.
