Or Easy Model as they are also called?

I picked up a Sherman today at the local hobby store. It's 100% plastic, but it looks nice enough for $12.

The thing that got me was the desciption on the back. Bad! Not just bad...Oh my God bad! I'm guessing that whatever country they were made in (China?) they took that description and ran it through an free online translator. Let me quote some:

"In Pacific Ocean group of islands fought war, the American solider's the tank of M4 then did the situation."

I guess it explains why they call it a "middle tank"...I'm think'n it should be "Medium Tank" Anyhow, I though it funny enough to share.

Sounds like the typical Chinese-English type translation. At least they tried, however

That's just plain embarrasing. They should've just left the description off at that point. I'm sure that if no one says anything to their marketing department, they'll eventually try to translate that gobbleydook into a third language, which will end up looking like Martian.

Hey, look at it this way. By not spending big $$$ on expensive translation services, they're able to keep the price down.

I'm just happy they didn't try to write a description of any of the submarines. Can you imagine the description for USS Jimmy Carter...

"The President 39th of the American States United was modified for SEAL (Land Air and Sea Specail Operations). This submarine was leader of the free world from 1976 to 1980."

I have been interested in the Easy Model by MRC, but have never seen these, other than in the Squadron flyers.

Can you post a pic of yours and possibly a review?

What a hoot :D :D you gotta love that "Chinglish", clearly something was lost in the translation. But seriously, I have several of the MRC easy Model 1:72 tanks including the Sherman and Pershing, and in my opinion they are very nice for the money. They are not up to the same level with Dragon or anything, but they still represent good quality and value. And if worse comes to worse, you can always "repair the quality with the deal"

I collect these and think they're really nice. They look totally in place next to the Dragons. Not quite as nicely done, but the assembly and fit is good, the details are fine, the decals look good, and there is a decent dusting for weathering. Worth the money, especially to fill out the allied ranks with Shermans, T-34s, and Pershings.

Enemy Ace, I couldn't have said it better. They look right at home with Dragon...untill you pick one up. It weighs about an once or so. Well, near enough.

Anyhow, hope that helps.
