Small Scale Military Headquarters

Hi again.
I can't seem to figure out how to get this nose-heavy diecast model to sit properly on it's stand. Over a short period, the airplane will tilt akwardly to one side.
Any suggestions?
BTW, I also have a MATCHBOX 1:72 P-47D diecast (Capt. Eagleston), and the plane sits on the plastic stand with no problems (even though there is no separate landing gear available with this product).

Haven't seen the Corgi P-47 stand up close, but I have and idea of what it might look like, with a single peg that goes up into the plane, a little too far aft of the center of ballance. The leaning at an odd angle seems to be a problem for many Corgi aircraft - they are simply too heavy for the stands devised for them! There's not too much you can do - perhaps not use the landing gear, but their contribution to the overall weight is minimal.

On another note, I have a Corgi 1:72 German He-111 bomber. Its stand featured an odd, two piece peg that held the plane and inch or so above the stand. Over time the aircraft would drop backwards and couldn't stay on the stand. I took off the base of the peg, and attached the top part directly to the top of the stand, eliminating the tendency of the plane to fall back.
