[1] Next Matchbox WWI Planes to be Made

Post by tmanthegreat » Sun Jan 09, 2005 1:32 pm

We haven't recieved much but repaints lately with the Matchbox Collectable 1:72 (and 1:48 ) scaled aircraft. With the three current themes of WWI, WWII, and 1950s/1960s era aircraft, which of the following choices would be the aircraft you would most like to see from the World War One Category? Poll space is limited, so feel free to add any other plausable options!

This poll has been divided into three seperate ones so more options could be added; this is PART ONE.

Hey Tman what is a Dr.II? There was a Fokker D.II which was basically in ley terms an E.III in biwing form. I voted for an Se.5 although an Albatros would be fitting considering the Baron's vast majority of victories were while flying this plane.

The D II was the one I'm refering to. I remember it from a Cox gas-powered plastic model that I thought looked cool.

I think that anything WWI would work for me. Noone really makes WWI planes in 1/48 scale except for Model Power but it's only the Dr.I and they don't look as nice as the Matchbox planes. They're just too shiny in color.

I like these because you can display them without their stands as the landing gear is fixed down.

I'd like to see the DVII, Camel, EI, Neuport 17, Rumpler, and an Albatross just to name a few.
