For several days now, there's been speculation that Dragon would be retooling its 1:35 scale Tiger I tank to replicate another of Michael Wittmann's immortal rides. Well, today comes news that the manufacturer will indeed be offering up another Wittmann caison, this time around based upon his mount used during the Kursk campaign. Finished in a marvelous two-tone summer camouflage scheme and sporting the usual impressive array of features and accoutrements, this new, fully-assembled battle tank will almost certainly take center stage in anyone's Dragon armor collection. The pre-order window is now open and we hope to take delivery of the first batch of vehicles sometime in May...[posted 3/29/2007]

Thanks for the post lightning! I cannot find the preorder window you talk about at the motorpool. By the way, do you ship to Europe (Spain).

Another thing is that the model number of this tank is 61006, so assuming they do the same they did with the first tigers, do you think that 61005 will be a cyberhobby surprise, maybe another wittmann?

Yes we ship to Spain. Just type in 61006 in the search field and it will bring you to the vehicle's listing. "Pre-order window" is just an euphanism.

In regard to 6105, I'm more inclined to believe it will be a second version of the Elefant, although that's purely conjecture. If I also had to guess, you can probably see 1:35 scale variation of each of the 1:144 scale early production Tiger Is that were recently announced. Again, speculation on my part, but not without some meritorious history!
