Just curious, but are the Sopwith Camel, Folker DR I Tri-plane, and Berloit Monoplane replicas from the recent Corgi "100 Years of Flight" collection accurately 1:72 scale, or are they smaller? I think they are smaller, but seem close enough...

Tman,
The Corgi "showcase series" (sold in Walmarts and other stores) are not in any particular scale.. I think some have determined that the heavy armor vehicles are about 1/64 while the smaller vehicles can be as big as 1/48.. The airplane scales are anyones guess.. :(

No! The WWI aircraft are really about 1:87 scale and NOT 1:72. I wish they were and you could use them in a pinch. :)

Thanks! They did seem a little small for 1:72, especially since they were dwarfed by the old Matchbox 1:72 scale Pitt's Special biplane.
