Greetings
I was in Washington DC over the weekend for a conference and saw a possibly new 32XW airplane. It was a series 3 Corsair in Royal Navy markings. Of course the Smithsonian wanted a hefty price for them $36 so I passed on it. Don't remember the squadron but had something to do with the Tungsten. Cool looking bird. Now wishing I would have bought the thing as I do get a member's discount and like to support the museum but I had a lot ot buy for my classroom.

That Corsair is seriously the nicest of the batch in my opinion! It is so good looking in person.

Greetings:
I had never seen that color scheme so I didn't know it was even out. It was a super nice surprise to see these offered in the Air and Space Museum. Really really nice. The $36 is hard to swallow but I can see it, the NASM museum store is a little inflated but as long as it goes to helping them I can see it.
I am kicking myself I did not pick one up now where I could look at it and check it for flaws. Unfortunately, I had so much to get in terms of books for my classroom that I didnt have the extra cash with me. (I make it a point not to use the credit card and only take so much cash).
Tko is right, very very nice plane.

Good reports....I'll knock on The Flying Mule's door for this offering....thanks for the good reports-British a/c are not my "specialty", but this scheme really looks great in pictures.
